Corporate payroll & slip filing in the GTA
Stop stressing over slip deadlines — expert T4, T4A and T5 returns
Small business owners, incorporated professionals and employers face severe CRA penalties for late or incorrect returns. We handle everything, providing professional payroll and slip filing alongside seamless digital processing for T4, T4A and T5 records.
Who this is for
Small business employer
You run a growing team and need to accurately calculate deductions, manage source deductions (CPP, EI, income tax), and issue T4 slips to your staff without error.
Business utilising contractors
You regularly hire freelancers, sub-contractors or independent professionals and must navigate the strict CRA guidelines for issuing T4A slips for non-salary remuneration.
Incorporated business owner
You pay yourself or your shareholders through corporate dividends rather than salary, requiring precise tracking, gross-up calculations and filing of T5 slips.
What I do for you
Accurate payroll calculations
We review your year-to-date payroll records to ensure precise calculations of Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Employment Insurance (EI), and federal and provincial tax withholdings.
T4 remuneration slips & summaries
We prepare and electronically file your annual T4 returns with the CRA, ensuring every employee receives their statement on time to avoid costly late-filing fees.
T4A commission & fees processing
We help distinguish between employees and independent contractors, correctly categorising and filing your T4A slips to protect you from misclassification audits.
T5 investment & dividend returns
We track your corporate distributions, handle required gross-ups and dividend tax credit computations, and submit flawless T5 slips and summaries.
PD7A reconciliation
We cross-reference your monthly source deduction payments (PD7A statements) against your year-end tax summaries to ensure your numbers balance perfectly, avoiding CRA red flags.
CRA audit & communication care
Should the CRA issue a payroll review, a PIER (Pensionable and Insurable Earnings Review) report, or request a breakdown of your tax slips, we represent you and manage the process.

Payroll & information slips FAQ
When are T4s due?
T4 slips must be filed and given to employees by the last day of February following the calendar year. Penalties apply per slip, so a late filing with many employees adds up quickly.
Can I pay a worker as a contractor instead?
Only if the working relationship genuinely is one. The CRA looks at control, tools, chance of profit and integration — not what the contract calls it.
What if I have missed remittances?
Get current as soon as possible; penalties and interest compound. There is usually a sensible path to catching up.
When are T4 slips due?
The last day of February following the calendar year. Both the slips to your employees and the summary to the CRA are due on that date, and the penalty applies per slip — so a handful of slips filed a few weeks late still costs real money.
What is the difference between a T4A and a T5018?
A T4A reports fees, commissions and other income paid to someone who is not an employee. A T5018 is specific to the construction industry and reports payments to subcontractors. If you are in construction and paying subs, the T5018 is likely your obligation.
What is a PIER report?
A Pensionable and Insurable Earnings Review. The CRA compares the CPP and EI you reported on T4 slips against what should have been deducted given the earnings, and writes to you about any discrepancy. Reconciling PD7A remittances against your year-end summaries before filing is what prevents one.
